evolutionID users can now enjoy PKI security

Today we announced our partnership with evolutionID. The company, which is headquartered in Munich, provides ID management systems for physical access, such as smart ID cards, RFID cards, dual interface cards and more to many leading European companies. Now, our partnership allows them to bring full management of the public key infrastructure (PKI) security to their solutions.

We expect evolutionID will be instrumental in helping its customers broaden the value of their corporate badges and ID cards beyond physical access capabilities alone. By building in Versasec’s API and using a unified interface, their customers can now enjoy complete end-to-end PKI security, which authenticates the identity of the device user.

With so many employees in Europe and around the world still working from home due to the global pandemic, it’s never been more important for companies to fully identify the users who are accessing their critical data. This partnership means evolutionID customers can now purchase smart cards offering the highest levels of security, while also speeding their implementation and simplifying the management of those cards over their full lifecycle, from card design to user onboarding to card retirement.
