Utimaco HSM Introduction

A Hardware Security Module (HSM) is a device to generate, store and manage cryptographic keys safely. The functions of an HSM include key generation, encryption & decryption, authentication and signing operations.
An HSM secures numerous applications and transactions, keeping digital identities, critical infrastructures and high value data assets safe. The physical device offers high computing power to perform crypto operations and provides different levels of tamper-resistance.
The Utimaco HSM introduction is designed to enable sales representatives to acquire the general background and technical knowledge necessary to understand customer requirements, and then subsequently to be able to recommend the right specifications from the Utimaco product range. The training takes max. 3 hours presentation and interactive discussion regarding the following topics:

- What is an HSM?
- Who uses them?
- What are they used for?
- How do they work?
